Shopee is now present with a new initiative to ensure that users continue to be confident in making purchases under Shopee Mall. Under this new initiative, Shopee says that starting July 15, 2023, if users buy goods through Shopee Mall and receive counterfeit goods, they will be subject to a return guarantee of up to 8x the purchase price.
This new initiative is an improvement over the previous 2x purchase price offer. Regardless, this 8x cashback guarantee is subject to a maximum until the multiple reaches the value of RM5,000 – or the original value if the goods exceed RM5,000.
Shopee Mall already has a number of popular and well-known brands on the platform, and with this move, it is expected to continue to add confidence to the e-commerce platform.
Anyway, it should be noted that this new policy and initiative is only for purchases on Shopee Mall, and not on Shopee as a whole.
