Sony's new update shows that there is a new product launch event that will be held on July 24. With the tagline The Best Silence Drops in promoting the product, it could be an introduction to Sony's new WF-1000XM5 earphones with enhanced active noise cancellation. In the meantime, Sony is also expected to make some other major improvements to these earphones in making them more attractive and user-friendly.
This can be seen through rumors that say that the WF-1000XM5 audio core will be smaller than before which should provide more comfort when used. Not only that, the WF-1000XM5 is also said to work for up to 24 hours which also supports wireless charging. A 3-minute charge allows for up to 1 hour of playback time, which is better than the XM4's 15-minute charge.
