A device from Sony under the Xperia series is now the talk of the town after its promotional video was leaked through sharing on Reddit. The device in question is the Sony Xperia 5 V which will be a continuation of the Xperia 5 IV with a more affordable price.
The short 48-second video seems to hint that Sony is taking a different approach to the series. Where the Sony Xperia 5V seems to have a dual-camera system on the back that might house a main and ultra-wide sensor. Perhaps it is one of the early signs that this phone can be sold at a cheaper price than before.
In the meantime, the rear panel also displays Zeiss branding, which should also receive Zeiss T* Coating for a better photographic experience. Also visible is the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack which will surely please those who are still hoping for wired earphones.
Seeing directly the body of the device seems to be built entirely with metal-based materials. It is also seen to be available in three color options such as Black, White and Blue/Gray. No specific launch date has been revealed but it could be earlier than usual as this promotional video has been leaked.
