Google TV is getting more and more interesting to use. Various manufacturers of televisions and TV boxes have also started using this operating system compared to Android TV. The latest Google TV has been updated with the addition of the Shop tab.
With this new tab it is easier for users to rent or buy content directly from Google TV. Open this tab to keep searching for the content you want and then keep pressing to start renting or buying it.
Previously buying or renting content required using the Google TV app on iOS or Android. All paid content will be displayed on the Your Library line or can also be accessed on the YouTube application, Google TV application or any television/TV box Android TV and Google TV that use the same Google account.
This feature is however limited to 24 selected countries only and most likely will not be offered in Malaysia in the near future.
