This Is Oppo Reno10 Pro+ 5G Design For Local Market

Noticed or not, devices under the Reno series will receive a new offering through the Reno10 Pro+ 5G. The launch date is still a question mark, but it could take place in the near future since Oppo is also actively talking about it publicly.

However, we were given early access to take a closer look at the device. But as always, the partnership focuses solely on design. Meanwhile, full details will follow later.

Starting with the unboxing session, you will get a packaging box with visuals that are more or less the same as the previous Oppo Reno8 T. The silver colored box is fully used and then matched with black writing.

Among the items contained in this packaging box are the smartphone, a transparent silicone frame, a SIM ejector, a charging head, a white USB A to USB C cable and a user manual. Oppo is also seen not providing any additional dongle for connection purposes.

DESIGN

Now I will touch on the design. The Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is an attractive device with a good build. Personally, I think it's neither too heavy nor too light, while making the usage experience satisfying. It's even better when I can operate it with one hand without any problems.

But the story is different when I put this device in my pants pocket which started to feel uncomfortable. This is due to its elongated size resulting in the device sticking out of the pocket.

The back uses a glossy finish that is charming, especially for devices that are purple in color, or the official name is Purple. Then the glass-based construction used has also been a plus on this device.

Being praised for being beautiful is nice, but you have to compromise with the easy issue of trapping fingerprints and being exposed to various issues, again hitting directly.

Next, the tri-camera system is still maintained, but now there is a big and thick bump that shows a very noticeable change. You might say the Reno10 Pro+ camera bump design looks strange, but what stands out is the return of the telephoto lens on the Reno series devices. This feature allows the device to take pictures from a long distance. It can even be considered interesting considering the last time we saw a lens like this used was on the Reno10x Zoom model.

The device also comes with a MariSilicon X chip which is sure to be able to enhance the photography experience with a completely different and creative perspective. We have also seen the capabilities of this chip through some previous models such as Find X5 Pro and Reno8 Pro, each of which can take beautiful photos in most conditions.

SAMPLE PICTURES

What about the Reno10 Pro+ 5G? The results are as below but I will comment further in a future article.

SCREEN

The front screen is completely curved on both sides with a small hole placed in the middle. In fact, not everyone likes curved screens. But from a positive aspect, the device looks more symmetrical from the front and the larger display can also be used with a thinner bezel size. It is also not a new thing, in fact it has been used since the previous Reno4 series.

The device also uses a built-in fingerprint scanner under the screen which greatly simplifies the unlocking experience. As an option, the face scan system can also be used for faster device access.

MORE ABOUT DESIGN

The power button and audio adjustment are placed on the right side. Just like the frame, these two buttons are also made of aluminum and do not feel loose. Like the frame these two buttons are made of metal and they don't feel loose. The device also has an infrared transmitter at the top which is one of the rare features on a smart device.

The bottom part houses USB-C charging flanked by an audio grille and a SIM tray. It supports dual-SIM capability without microSD card support and the speaker is a stereo type. Then whether you notice it or not, there is no audi 3.5mm jack hole to be found on the device which means it will affect the users who are still hoping for wired type earphones/headphones.

That's all we have to share about this new Oppo device. Its presence has also been officially announced by Oppo which indicates that it may happen in the near future. Full details will only be revealed after the launch, including the official selling price. As always, stay with us for further updates.
