Threads Now Has Over 50 Million User Accounts

Meta has already officially launched the Threads application yesterday, and now, more than a day after its launch, Threads recorded a user figure exceeding 50 million accounts.

This can be said to be a high achievement figure recorded by internet-based services, in a very short period of time. With this healthy development, it is not impossible that we will see Threads reach the figure of 100 million users in just a few days.

Meta previously announced that they reached 2 million users in just the first 2 hours, and then managed to reach a total of 10 million users in the first 7 hours.

Threads offers a sharing feature in the form of text, and also allows users to include videos and pictures in the sharing. It is positioned as an alternative to Twitter - and managed to attract many Twitter users to the platform due to the various limitations imposed under the management of Elon Musk.

Threads itself is arguably still in its early stages, and some features are still waiting for users, including a home page that only displays shares from friends that are followed.

With this latest development, it should be something interesting to watch – especially for the competition between Twitter and even Threads.
