Looking at the development of this technology, Amazon Web Service (AWS) has introduced several services capable of generating generative AI, namely Amazon Bedrock, Amazon CodeWhisperer as well as Amazon EC2 Trn1n and Amazon EC2 Inf2.
According to AWS, through the use of generative AI, it will further increase the creativity of enterprises in the production of more interesting content, including pictures, videos and music. In addition, the use of generative artificial intelligence is also believed to be able to increase the company's productivity by speeding up the process of doing a task.
Therefore, AWS has introduced their service, Amazon Bedrock, which provides facilities for users to build their own AI-based applications using various foundation models. Among the basic models supported by Amazon Bedrock are Amazon Titan, Jurassic-2, Claude and Stable Diffusion.
AWS at the same time also highlighted their Amazon CodeWhisperer service, which is an AI that uses a basic model to further improve developer productivity, through assistance or suggestions for the generation of various codes that can be used in programming tasks. Through this service as well, it is said to be able to further increase developer productivity, where CodeWhisperer users are able to complete tasks 57% faster.
More interestingly, this Amazon CodeWhisperer is also available for various programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Typescript and others, and can be used through the AWS Lambda console.
AWS is also sensitive to the needs of enterprises in having a dedicated infrastructure in building and training the basic model, which necessarily consumes a high cost. Therefore, AWS also provides Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Trn1n and Amazon EC2 Inf2 which are said to be able to provide better performance, and at the same time offer up to 50% savings in training costs.
Therefore, with the presence of this technology, AWS not only offers you services that simplify the process of programming and application development, but it also helps save enterprise expenses. Through it, it makes the expense and use of AWS technology more worthwhile and increases user productivity.
