TikTok Has Over 325 Million Users In Southeast Asia, 15 Million Businesses


 TikTok today shared some interesting developments on their platform, especially in the Southeast Asia region. According to TikTok, there are now over 325 million active users in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia.


Interestingly, there are around 15 million businesses that use the TikTok Shop platform for sales and trading activities. According to a number of traders, they also showed a 50% increase in sales compared to before. In fact, with a wider reach, they are no longer limited to a certain location, but can trade to a wider region.



TikTok labels their platform as “Shoppertainment” – which combines content sharing and commerce. Various parties are ready to say that it will be one of the big things in the ecommerce arena, and TikTok is leading the industry for now.


Ending the partnership, TikTok also aims to become a $1 trillion opportunity in a few years for the region.
