Telekom Malaysia today sent an email and SMS to a number of Unifi customers, informing them about the recent data leakage incident. The data involved in this leak include names, MyKad identification card numbers, and contact information.
TM stated that this leak has been contained, and measures to minimize the impact on customers have been taken. TM also said it has informed the authorities regarding this incident for further action.
It is not yet known whether this incident is related to the previous Unifi leak or not.
