Twitter Now Has A Read Limit – Verified Accounts Are Limited To 6000 Reads, Regular Accounts 600 Reads A Day

Elon Musk has now announced social service Twitter will limit reading and usage on their service, saying it is due to extreme data access by third parties and system manipulation. Because of that, all users will be limited to reading per day.

For paid or verified account users, reading will be limited to 6000 Tweet shares per day. While unverified accounts will be limited to 600 readings per day. For new unverified account users, they will be limited to 300 readings per day.

Elon Musk also stated that they will increase it gradually, to 10,000 readings per day for paid accounts, 1,000 for unverified accounts, and 500 for new accounts.

Previously, Twitter had limited their system to only registered users who could access and read Tweets on the platform.

With this move, will it give users more reason to switch to the Twitter competitor that Meta is developing?
