Video Shows Nothing Phone Design (2) And Smarter Glyph Features

The actual design of the Nothing Phone (2) was finally revealed in a video. Although according to Carl Pei the design of Phone (2) is different from Phone (1), this video uploaded by MKBHD clearly shows the similarity with drastic changes only in the Glyph lighting system.

Phone (2) is seen using a curved back panel design. The size also looks bigger confirming the 6.7″ screen used. The Glyph design also looks a little different with each LED strip now broken and not connected. The red LED light for indication of video recording is changed to a strip of dots. A physical switch is also visible but still not sure what the actual function is.

Nothing again focuses on their Glyph LED lighting system. According to MKBHD, Phone (2) now has 33 LED zones compared to 12 zones on Phone (1). A curved strip has 16 zones for smarter features such as lights moving according to voice level, according to a running timer, or even Uber status. A strip at the top end can now be set as a special light for favorite app notifications.

Further specifications of the Nothing Phone (2) have not yet been revealed. Camera samples however have surfaced on Twitter showing improvements in terms of HDR and sharper colors. The launch of this device will take place on July 11, let's all look forward to it.
