WhatsApp has been offering audio messaging support on their app for a long time. Now, giving a twist to it, WhatsApp today announced the offering of video messaging through the app.
Through the video messaging feature, users can record video messages of up to 60 seconds, and send them to recipients. The message is displayed as a circle on your chat window with other friends.
WhatsApp said this move will enable the delivery of better and closer messages to users, including including emotions through them.
To send a video message, it is the same as sending an audio message. Users only need to tap once to change it from the microphone to the camera icon, and then record a video message before sending it to friends.
