Light shows using drones are becoming increasingly popular as they can be seen at sporting events such as the Superbowl. It not only provides a new performance element but is seen as a more environmentally friendly alternative to the flagship show. On July 4 last in conjunction with the United States' independence day, the world record for the largest drone show was recorded.
A total of 1002 drones were involved in the 10-minute show. The record recorded in Texas was managed by the Sky Elements Drone firm and it was confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records. In the show drones are used to form astronauts, an important chapter in U.S. history and also transform into three fighter planes.
