Lei Jun has now confirmed that they will introduce their new generation foldable phone in August 2023, which is the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3.
Xiaomi also stated that they have achieved engineering breakthroughs in several respects, especially in the support of the periscope lens module for the camera – thus bringing a four-camera system with Leica optical lenses to a foldable phone.
With this, it also confirms that the MIX Fold 3 will be the first foldable phone with four cameras on it, while also improving recording support on mobile devices.
The date of its introduction has not been announced at this time. We may hear more about the introduction of this new phone soon. In addition to Xiaomi, several other brands are also targeting the introduction of their respective foldable phones in August 2023, including Oppo.
