Xiaomi Malaysia today announced that they will be launching devices under the new Redmi series soon. No details have been revealed other than the launch date which is scheduled to take place on July 7.
Based on what has been listed on the SIRIM website, this device is most likely the Redmi 12 which comes with a design similar to the iPhone 14 Pro. If it is true that this is the device that will be launched, the Redmi 12 will be powered by the Helio G88 chip, come with a 90Hz screen, use a 50MP tri-camera configuration and support IP53 waterproof and dustproof protection.
This device is expected to join the other Redmi series already launched in Malaysia namely Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12, Redmi 12C and Redmi Note 12S.
