YouTube will prevent users of the ad blocker application or better known as AdBlock from streaming their content. Several warnings have already been received by users of this plugin on popular web browsers. But according to a Bleeping Computer report, YouTube is now testing allowing AdBlock users to watch just three videos before streaming is blocked.
Users are then given the option of turning off AdBlock or subscribing to YouTube Premium. YouTube confirmed to Bleeping Computer about the study but did not share information on which markets the feature is being tested on.
With more and more ads on YouTube, users may have become bored and choose to use AdBlock. However, this can affect YouTube's income and should be prevented. Do you use the AdBlock plugin on desktop? If so what will you do when streaming is blocked by YouTube in the future?
