At a price of RM2499 a pair, Apple AirPods Max is an expensive headset in Malaysia. Because it's a premium product, owners have hopes that it's more durable than cheap headphones. But according to a report by 404 Media, there are a number of AirPods Max owners complaining that their headphones are damaged by sweat.
Sweaty ears caused by tight ear cups are said to cause AirPods Max to fail. Sweat that flows into the audio driver part causes it to suffer damage. This issue is more serious on AirPods Max because the ear cups are made of aluminum.
It does not allow hot air to escape from the interior of the ear cup. This hot air when it meets the aluminum body will turn into water droplets which then accumulate. When it comes into contact with electronic components, serious damage can occur. This issue has been reported by owners for the past few years through Apple's official forum but still no solution has been provided until now.
