Last January, Alienware introduced a new gaming screen that comes with a refresh rate that can be overclocked up to 500Hz.
Recently, during the Gamescom 2023 event, the gaming brand has introduced a new update for the Alienware AW2524HF screen display, with the introduction of support for AMD FreeSync Premium, replacing support for NVIDIA G-SYNC.
Other specifications, such as the use of a 24.5-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution and a 480Hz refresh rate are still the same, as well as the ability to process the 99 percent sRGB color gamut with VESA DisplayHDR 400 display technology support.
In terms of plug support, this screen display supports HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and has five USB 3.2 plugs.
According to Dell, the Alienware AW2524HF screen display with AMD FreeSync Premium support will be offered in certain markets starting September 12. On the Dell Malaysia website, the same model with NVIDIA G-SYNC support is sold at a price of RM1499. If it arrives in the Malaysian market later, it would not be surprising if it is also offered at the same price.
