AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT And RX 7700 XT Introduced For Mid-Class Graphics Performance

After several weeks of its launch, AMD has finally launched their mid-range graphics card series, which consists of two graphics card models, the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT.

Both graphics cards are powered by the new Navi 32 graphics chip, with a "Graphics Compute Die" graphics processing chip built using a 5nm process and four memory cache dies developed with a 6nm process.

The AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card comes with 60 Compute Units consisting of 3840 stream processors, 120 AI accelerators, 60 RT accelerators, 64MB Infinity Cache and also 16GB of GDDR6 memory. It has a Game Clock speed as fast as 2124 MHz and Boost Clock at 2430 MHz.

The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics card comes with 54 Compute Units consisting of 3456 stream processors, 108 AI accelerators, 54 RT accelerators and 48MB of Infinity Cache memory. It also comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory and has a Game Clock speed as fast as 2171MHz and 2544 MHz at Boost Clock overclocking speed.

The advantage shown on these two graphics cards comes through the amount of memory present, which is 16GB on the Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card and 12GB on the Radeon RX 7700 XT.

AMD says that the RX 7800 XT comes with an advantage over the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 in terms of performance in the range of 2-23 percent depending on the computer game at 1440p resolution and high settings.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT is expected to have an improvement over the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti in the range of 1-31 percent depending on the computer games run.

Both of these graphics cards will go on sale on September 6, 2023 globally, where the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT will be offered at a price of $499 and the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT at a price of $449. This graphics card will be offered through AMD graphics card developer partners such as ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire and so on.
