Apple Watch Transformed into a Mechanical Watch

Apple Watch has been around for almost a decade and is now the smart watch with the most dominant market. But if you're an Apple Watch Series 1 buyer, you'll be disappointed because it hasn't received software updates since 2020, making it electronic trash. Realizing this issue, NanoRobotGeek a YouTuber modified an Apple Watch Series 1 into a mechanical watch.

The electronics inside the Apple Watch body were removed and replaced with a Seiko NH38 mechanism. This mechanism was chosen because it has a weight system that will rotate to supply power. No batteries are required and no spring system needs to be manually rotated every day.

Although it is no longer a smartwatch, this mechanical Apple Watch will be able to operate as long as it is worn on the owner's hand. No issue of outdated software, dead battery or damaged electronic components will haunt the owner.
