Another series of flagship phones will bring their curtain down this year if Technews reports are accurate. According to this site, ASUS will stop production of their Zenfone series phones this year under the company's ongoing restructuring program.
With this the Zenfone 10 smartphone will be the last to be launched. After this only the ROG Phone series will be continued by ASUS. In this segment, ASUS is the only manufacturer that still offers gaming phones after the Lenovo Legion and Black Shark series have been discontinued by their manufacturers.
Last July, ASUS began a reduction in the workforce of the PC division with staff being transferred to the smartphone division. If this report is true, the smartphone division will undergo a labor reduction process in the near future.
