ASUS is a brand that likes to collaborate with various lifestyle brands as well as names in the creative industry, in line with their In Search of Incredible branding.
Recently, ASUS has collaborated with a fashion brand from Japan, A Bathing Ape, or better known as BAPE. This brand is quite famous for their gorilla mascot and also designs clothes that have a "camo" pattern with a variety of interesting color options.
The two companies have collaborated to develop a laptop with BAPE's iconic pattern design, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition. In terms of specifications, this laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch OLED screen display with a resolution of 2.8K (2880×1620) and a refresh rate of 120Hz along with the ability to process 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
This ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition also comes with an internal specification configuration, which is an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, 16GB LPDDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. With these specifications, this laptop is also named as an Intel Evo laptop, which is a laptop that comes with powerful specifications in a thin and light design.
The uniqueness of this limited edition laptop comes from the design of the pattern and also the offer of BAPE themed accessories. On the laptop, it can be seen that the frame behind the display has BAPE's unique camo design, including on the surface of the touch pad and also the BAPE logo on the side of the laptop's palm rest.
In terms of accessories, ASUS is seen offering laptop boxes in "camo green" and "camo blue" colors that follow the color theme for these two laptop models. Included accessories include a laptop storage bag, BAPE-themed stickers, an ASUS Marshmallow mouse with an interchangeable frame and a Baby Milo doll, which is the mascot for the BAPE brand.
ASUS Malaysia says that this ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition laptop can already be purchased in the local market at a price of RM6499 through the ASUS Malaysia online store starting today with the option of Black Midnight with box and Green Camo and Cool Silver themed accessories with box and Blue Camo themed accessories.
That said, they've also confirmed that they'll only be bringing in very limited quantities of this laptop, so you'll have to act fast to get your hands on one.
