Brave, one of the popular web browsers used by many, has now announced the introduction of the integration of a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence, named Leo.
Leo can help users with a number of things, including making it easy to summarize a page being browsed, producing a transcript of a video being watched, as well as answering various questions asked of it.
Brave uses the Llama 2 model offered as open source by Meta. Brave also emphasized that they do not store any conversations with artificial intelligence, and remain focused on privacy – one of the things their web browser is known for.
For now, Leo has been integrated on the desktop development version, and is expected to be introduced on the stable channel soon.
