Channels Receiving Warnings On YouTube Can Now Attend Classes To Lighten The Punishment

YouTube has guidelines that every user and channel owner must follow. If it is violated, YouTube will remove the video that violates the guidelines and a warning is given to the account. Recently YouTube introduced a new feature that will give warning recipients the opportunity to take online classes to mitigate their punishment.

After a warning is received about an uploaded video, the video will be deleted. Account holders are given the option to join a video class to find out what offense they have committed that has resulted in a warning. They then have to take care of their behavior for 90 days. If there are no repeat errors, the warning received will be withdrawn.

If the offense is committed again in the same period, they will receive one "strike". If three "strikes" are received within 90 days, the account will be immediately deleted. If the offense is repeated after 90 days, the account owner will receive another warning and will have to re-attend the same class.

With this system YouTube hopes that account owners will understand why videos are removed because a clear explanation is given. It also allows them to learn from their mistakes and not be punished for life.
