Concorde Supersonic Plane Immortalized As Lego Set

In the world of civil aviation, the Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde is the fastest passenger plane ever to operate. The service was discontinued in 2003 because it was too expensive to operate and was never profitable for airlines. For Concorde fans, Lego has produced a small scale model that can be used as a decoration at home.

A Lego version of the Concorde of the day with a front roof that opens to reveal a cramped passenger cockpit. The nose can be flexed just like the real Concorde when trying to land. The tire part also works and can be stored in the body with the position of the wing petals can also be changed.

A total of 2,083 Lego pieces are needed to build this 105 x 43 x 15 cm long Concorde. The set will be sold starting this September at a price of $199.99 (~RM917) each.
