Google Pixel Watch 2 Will Support UWB And Be Powered By Snapdragon W5 Gen 1

The Pixel Watch is Google's first Wear OS smartwatch. The watch was criticized by gadget reviewers for being expensive and using outdated chips. In addition to not being able to compete with other smart watches on the market.

Even so, Google is still not giving up and is about to launch the Pixel Watch 2. Some specifications and information about the second Google watch have already spread on the web. First of all, this watch will be powered by a more modern chip, the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1, replacing the Exynos 9110.

Pixel Watch 2 is also said to support Ultra Wide Band (UWB) which is most likely for the Google Find Devices feature or to detect nearby devices and perform faster tethering on the user's phone.

The watch battery is said to be bigger which is 306mAh, the screen size is the same but it will use a Samsung OLED panel and no longer BOE and the giant black bezel is also said to be maintained. The Pixel Watch 2 is also said to launch with Wear OS 4, making it the second watch on the market to use the new operating system after the Samsung Galaxy Watch6.
