GoPro is one of the most popular action camera manufacturers around the world. GoPro is not only present with physical products but also has digital products such as Quik, which is an editing application and also a cloud storage service.
The Verge recently reported that GoPro will come with a video editing application for computers. It has not been revealed whether it will be offered for Windows or macOS platforms first. The application is expected to be offered free of charge to all GoPro users who subscribe to the GoPro Subscription plan.
This application will also be able to back up photos and videos to the cloud, access the gallery cross-device and edit directly through it. For those who don't know, GoPro previously had an application for computers called GoPro Studio but it was discontinued in 2018.
Currently GoPro Subscription is not offered in Malaysia, so it is not sure if this application can be used by local users or otherwise. Together we look forward to further developments for this software offering.
