The Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Fahmi Fadzil today announced the RAHMAH 5G Package plan for all and also the RAHMAH Postpaid Incentive for civil servants.
With this RAHMAH 5G Package, all Malaysians are eligible to subscribe to a 5G plan at a price of RM60, and get a total of 60GB of data per month. In the meantime, the people are also eligible to buy a 5G smart device that costs RM1099 for only RM240.
For those who belong to the B40 economic group, the first 100 thousand buyers in this plan are eligible to buy these devices also at the price of RM120. For civil servants who already subscribe to existing postpaid plans, they are also eligible to receive a RM10 rebate every month.
Update: This RAHMAH 5G package will be offered by local telecommunications companies starting August 31 with a two-year contract. The two devices that will be offered through this plan include the Honor 90 Lite 5G and the Samsung A14 5G. Every purchase of this device will also be offered with a two-year warranty period.
It is expected that the local telecommunication companies will make an announcement about the offer of this plan soon.
