Maxis has today activated 5G services to their users, including Hotlink users. In parallel, for existing Hotlink users, you can redeem a free 5G pass through the Hotlink Red app – and then enjoy 5G services on your device that supports it.
To redeem it, you just need to open the Hotlink Red application, and press on the new icon "Get 5G". You can then redeem the 5G Access Pass for 30 days for free – until 15 September 2023.
Once activated, it will be used together with the user's active internet pass, and enjoy 5G network access.
Hotlink also stated that users need to subscribe to this 5G pass at an additional payment of RM5 per month from 16 September 2023.
