Huawei Mate 60 Now Official – Equipped with 50MP OIS Camera and 66W Charging


 It seems that in silence Huawei Mate 60 has also been officially launched in China. It has a design almost similar to the pro variant that combines a perforated front screen with a thick camera bump on the back. The dual-tone color concept is also used on the back panel which is an interesting plus on the device.



For specifications, this device is equipped with a 6.69″ OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Again there are no specific details about the processing chip but 12GB RAM LPDDR5 memory and internal storage up to 1TB UFS 3.1 are used. The battery is 4,750mAh and supports fast charging 66W wired, 50W wireless and 7.5W reverse.



Also included is a 50MP main camera with variable aperture opening between F1.4-F4.0 and OIS. Then followed by a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and 12MP OIS for telephoto + macro capabilities. This camera system uses Huawei's own XMAGE system which also offers 5X optical zoom and 50X digital zoom. The front camera is 13MP which also supports HDR.



Other specifications include IP68 waterproof, USB Type-C/ USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, Wi-Fi 5/Wi-Fi 6, bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. The device is offered in China with prices starting at RMB5499 (~RM3,501) (12GB/256GB), RMB5999 (~RM3,819) (12GB/512GB) and RMB6,999 (~RM4,457) (12GB/1TB). No information about its availability in Malaysia is known at this time.
