Huawei Mate 60 Pro Now Official With 120Hz OLED Screen And XMAGE Camera

In sudden silence Huawei Mate60 Pro was found to be official in China today. It's a bit surprising because Huawei itself didn't talk about its official presence at all, instead only announcing that the device is available for purchase in China starting today.

From the design aspect it shows a design similar to the previous leaked image. A combination of a curved body with a back panel with two-tone colors is used. Also complementing it is a relatively large camera bump like the one used on the Mate40 before. A total of three cameras are placed on it along with an LED Flash.

Next, the screen is a 6.82-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Details about the processing chip are still a question mark, as the review via the official site also mentioned specifically. But the combined memory included is as much as 12GB RAM and internal storage reaches 1TB.

Also included is a 50MP main camera with variable aperture opening between F1.4-F4.0 and OIS. Then followed by an 8MP ultra-wide and 48MP OIS sensor for telephoto + macro capabilities. This camera system uses Huawei's own XMAGE system which also offers optical zoom up to 3.5X and 100X digital. Video recording capabilities up to 4K.

The included 5,000mAh battery supports 88W wired, 50W wireless and 20W reverse charging systems. Other specifications include IP68 waterproof, USB Type-C/ USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, Wi-Fi 5/Wi-Fi 6, bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Satellite Call and GPS. Only one price is listed for now which is RMB6999 (~RM4,461) for the 12GB/512GB variant.
