HyperX is a computer accessory brand that is quite famous for their computer accessory offerings, and recently, they have introduced a headset developed specifically for the latest video game consoles.
Named the HyperX Cloud Stinger 2, these headphones come with variations for the Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S game consoles. The headphones house large 50mm audio drivers, a swiveling ear frame and a microphone that comes with noise canceling function and turned up to mute.
Interestingly, although these headphones come with different branding for the PlayStation 5 console as well as Xbox Series X and Series S, the specifications and design of these headphones are the same. In fact, to connect these headphones to these consoles, you only need to connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the headphones to the Sony DualSense and Xbox Wireless Controller consoles via the built-in 3.5 audio plug.
For now, HyperX has yet to confirm the price tag for these headphones, but we will ask them for confirmation on when it will hit the local market.
