Previous iPhone 15 Pro replicas have shown a thinner screen bezel design. The screen size however is said to remain the same and this design will continue until the iPhone 16 Pro before using the full frameless design on the iPhone 17 Pro.
Yesterday again there were reports stating that the iPhone 15 Pro screen will come with a thinner bezel than the previous model, which is 1.5mm compared to 2.2mm. Not only that, the iPhone 15 Pro is also expected to use a titanium frame for more durability.
Interestingly, Mark Gurman also stated that the use of this frameless screen may be brought to the iPad as well. In my opinion, the bezel of the iPad is now thin enough to be comfortable to hold and handle. If Apple is going to use thinner bezels, iPadOS needs to have a good palm rejection system. Let's wait together.
