LDP Highway Now Activates Toll Payment Test Using Debit / Credit Card

Testing the use of toll payments using debit and credit cards is being implemented in stages by various highway providers. After the MEX, KESAS and SPRINT highways, now the LDP highway has also implemented the use of credit and debit cards for payment - as an alternative to the Touch n Go card.

The LDP Expressway (Damansara - Puchong) is also seen to label toll plazas specifically for payment using this alternative method - making it even easier for users. As usual, the user only needs to touch the debit or credit card at the terminal provided, and it will be processed for toll payment.

Since it uses wave-based technology, payment methods using devices such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and so on will also be supported on this terminal.

The government is targeting as many as 12 toll plazas will support payment using credit or debit cards as an alternative to Touch n Go by September 2023, including the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Expressway (AKLEH), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA), Baru Pantai Expressway (NPE), Penang Bridge (JPP), Butterworth – Kulim Expressway (BKE) and Damansara – Puchong Expressway (LDP), West Kuala Lumpur Traffic Dispersal Scheme Expressway (SPRINT), Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), SMART Tunnel , Kuala Lumpur – Putrajaya Expressway (MEX) and Duta – Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE).
