Less Than Half Of Threads 100 Million Users Are Still Active

 

How are you Threads? Do you still use it every day as an alternative to X? According to a Reuters report, Mark Zuckerberg admitted that Thread now has less than half of the active users of the 100 million accounts registered in the first week since its launch.

The confession was made during a town hall session held by him with Meta staff at the end of last week. Momentum Threads stalls a bit because it lacks basic features like chronological timeline, hashtag search, and sending private messages. It is still too early to say whether or not Threads will be able to provide competition to X.

With X now facing the challenge of negative cash flow as well as failing to get high advertising revenue, it is also not yet safe from the challenges of other platforms such as TikTok which also now supports text sharing.
