An AV enthusiast's dream is a television without tangled wired connections. It's almost impossible now because the average person has more than one video game console and TV box at home. The solution is a one-wire connection like the One Connect Box on Samsung TVs. LG is now starting to offer the world's first "wireless TV" that only needs a thin power cable to work.
LG Signature OLED M is equipped with a 97″ OLED screen with 8K resolution. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio formats. It is "wireless" because it only needs one power connection. All AV inputs for HDMI and audio are done wirelessly through the Zero Connect Box. This box can beam input up to 4K 120FPS directly to the TV up to a distance of 10 meters.
According to LG, their Zero Connect Box system has the ability to send information to the TV wirelessly three times faster than WiFI 6E. Previously, the Signature OLED M was only marketed in South Korea but from September it will be offered to the global market at a price of £28,000 (~RM 162,000) each.
