Maxis has today activated 5G services to all their users in Malaysia. Through it, users can enjoy higher speed internet access and at a low latency rate.
Along with this introduction, Maxis also announced some new plans for Maxis postpaid customers. This new plan comes at a price starting at RM79 per month for 80GB data (4G/5G) + 40GB 5G data, in addition to unlimited calls and SMS.
In addition, there are several other plan options, up to RM199 per month that offer 200GB data (4G/5G) + 100GB 5G data, in addition to unlimited calls and SMS.
Maxis users are encouraged to switch to this new plan. However, if you want to stay on the existing plan, and want to enjoy 5G access, users can activate it through the application by getting a 5G access pass.
Maxis is offering this 5G access pass for free for the first 30 days, after which users will have to pay RM10 per month.
In addition, Maxis has also activated the 5G offer to Hotlink plan users, and can also activate it through the Hotlink RED application.
