Maybank has now shared that they will add usage and support for more than one account on the MAE application by the 4th quarter of 2023. With this step, it will simultaneously overcome the problem faced by many users - where it is not possible to use more than one account on one device at a time.
Maybank was quoted as saying it does not support more than one account for the time being, due to several factors, including due to BNM's instructions.
Recently, Maybank has asked users to switch to MAE, including for transaction verification. However, some users who have more than one account, including business accounts face problems because one device is only allowed to access one account.
With the new feature that will follow in the 4th quarter of 2023, Maybank is expected to overcome the main problem faced by many users.
