Meta Expected to Introduce Web Version Threads This Week

Meta, the company behind Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, is now expected to introduce a web version of its new social service, Threads – as early as this week.

The web version has been one of the most desired and requested features since the Threads service was introduced. It will further simplify the management process, in addition to sharing and publishing through Threads.

Until now, the web version of Threads only allowed users to view the sharing, or view the user's profile. It doesn't allow users to share things, or see a dashboard or home page that aggregates various shares.

The matter is expected to change as early as this week. With various changes to X being disliked – including the latest being changes to TweetDeck, Meta seems to want to move quickly in rounding out Threads and better compete with X.
