Excel is one of the software or applications used in calculating and analyzing data widely around the world. In continuing to improve the software, now Microsoft announced the integration of Python support to Excel.
Python integration in Excel is being introduced to Microsoft 365 users in beta form starting today. This simultaneously allows users to perform more powerful data analysis and manipulation directly on Excel software. It also allows users to do a number of things without having to install additional software. Users can view Python data on the same grid in their respective Excel pages.
Microsoft says various calculations involving Python are performed through the Microsoft Cloud, and displayed directly to Excel pages. This integration allows users to do a number of things, including using features like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
For those of you who use Microsoft 365, the Python integration feature on Excel has been introduced starting today. This feature is available to users on the Windows platform first, and is expected to be extended to other platforms soon.
