Microsoft Edge Becomes First Web Browser to Offer Web Browsing History Export Feature

Microsoft Edge is the world's third most popular web browser according to statcounter. This web browser became popular when it started using Chromium as the main engine and was built-in on most Windows computers.

Neowin recently discovered a new feature on Edge that allows users to export web browsing history to a CSV file. This feature is found on Microsoft Edge Canary version 117.0.2026.0 and is an A/B test as it is not accessible to everyone.

This feature allows users to use CSV files to import to other web browsers or to other versions of Edge without relying on a Microsoft account. For now this feature is still uncertain when it will be distributed to the public. But a new stable version of Edge is expected to arrive in September.
