It seems that more and more toll plazas will come with MyDebit terminals as an alternative to highway toll payments. After we saw it activated at the KESAS expressway toll yesterday, we have also found that it has also been activated at another expressway toll in Petaling Jaya.
The said toll plaza is SPRINT, where all Touch'n'Go toll lanes are seen to be present with the debit card payment method. What is interesting here is that unlike the MEX and KESAS highway tolls, the installation at the SPRINT toll seems to be done quickly.
I use this SPRINT toll to go home every day, and last night was the first time I saw this MyDebit terminal installed in the toll lane. This shows that the terminals can be installed and activated quickly and gives people more ways to pay tolls.
With this it is hoped that more highway tolls will be present with this payment method so that they are not limited to one payment platform only.
