The Minister of Transport has now shared that he is testing the online payment feature on the MyJPJ application, making it easier for users to renew their Driving License and Vehicle License (Road Tax).
Now, in the testing phase, various things are being taken into account in an effort to ensure that the application runs smoothly without interruption when it is offered to the public. This testing phase is expected to take place for several weeks, and the government is expected to introduce this feature within a few months.
With this step, it is expected to further simplify the license renewal process directly on the application.
This feature comes in addition to the introduction of digital licenses through the MyJPJ application as an alternative to the printed version. However, the government also emphasized that the physical version is still offered to the public and has not been discontinued for the time being.
