The Redmi 12 was launched earlier with the MediaTek Helio G88 chip and sold starting at RM599 in Malaysia. The latest of these devices seems to be offered in a 5G variant which will necessarily use a different processing chip. Not only that, the device also only has a dual main camera compared to the tri-camera used on the previous 4G variant.
Next, the Snapdragon chip will also be used as the mainstay of the device, but questions began to arise when Redmi did not share more about it specifically. However, some argue that the device may just be a rebranded Redmi 12R, so there is a possibility that the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip will be used later.
Some of the same elements as the 4G variant are also retained on this new device. Among them are 50MP camera, 5000mAh battery, 8GB RAM memory and 256GB internal storage. But as usual, to see the full range, look forward to the official launch on August 1.
