Nio – Electric Car Manufacturer In China, Will Come With Its Own Smartphone This September

 

Nio is one of the electric vehicle manufacturers in China, and has several car offerings under them. Most recently, in addition to focusing on the automotive arena, Nio also announced that it will present its own smartphone in September 2023.

This unique smartphone offering is expected to provide better connectivity between the vehicle and the phone – while taking the digital lifestyle one step further.

Previously, some vehicle manufacturers have emphasized features such as unlocking the vehicle using the phone, in addition to starting the engine, starting the air conditioner, and so on.

For now, Nio stated that their smartphone business does not want to compete with other phone manufacturers, but rather to complement the lifestyle under Nio's offerings.
