OnePlus Open Launch Reportedly Delayed Due to Screen Issues

OnePlus Open is the name of OnePlus' first foldable screen phone. It was previously expected to be officially launched in August with a design similar to the Vivo X Fold2, a Hasselblad camera and is said to be the likely global version of the Oppo Find N3 in China. But according to the latest information, it is said that the OnePlus Open launch is now experiencing a slight delay.

Based on the information coming to the web arena, OnePlus is said to delay the launch of their foldable phone because they want to change the screen of the device. Previously they used BOE screen panels and were said to be not good enough compared to other competitors. With the launch delayed, OnePlus will change their screen to a panel produced by Samsung which is said to be of better quality.

For now, the official launch date is not yet available. OnePlus Open is expected to come with a 7.8" OLED inner screen, a 6.3" OLED outer screen, a 4800mAh battery, 67W fast charging and may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Let's wait for more information.
