Oppo Watch 4 Pro Confirmed to Use Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 Chip

Oppo has started showing off its new wearable device Watch 4 Pro in China. Some key features have also been shared that indicate the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip built alongside the BES2700 will be used as the mainstay. This dual-chipset configuration means that the watch can not only offer good performance, but is also upgraded in terms of power efficiency.

Next, it will also be equipped with an LTPO AMOLED board that also offers the Always On Display feature for the display to always be active. Upgrades are also made to the built-in sensor which is said to be able to optimize the algorithm for better readings. These include a 16-channel SpO2 sensor, skin temperature sensor and ECG.

Also complementing this watch is a 2GB RAM memory, in addition to eSIM capabilities that allow users to do many things with this watch. It is also expected to offer a 570mAh battery that should last a long time with a body made of stainless steel and ceramic.

Although already hinted at in the official poster, the launch date of this smartwatch has not yet been announced.
