The Oppo Watch is Oppo's first Wear OS watch and only the first generation is sold in Malaysia. Oppo Watch 2 and Oppo Watch 3 with higher specifications are not offered in the local market. In China, Oppo is seen to be ready to launch the Oppo Watch 5.
Digital Chat Station has recently revealed the specifications for the Oppo Watch 5 Pro which is said to use the same Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip as the TicWatch Pro 5. The screen will use an LTPO OLED panel, a 570mAh battery and support LTE via eSIM.
NFC support, accurate GPS, pulse scanning, SpO2 data reading, and basic smartwatch features will be retained. For the Chinese market, Wear OS on this watch is most likely using a modified version. While for the Malaysian market, it is still uncertain if Oppo wants to sell it here. Let's wait together.
