Poco Will No Longer Focus on the Production of Flagship Devices


 Yesterday the POCO Partners Southeast Asia Forum 2023 event took place in Bangkok, Thailand. At this event, representatives of Poco, Shopee, Lazada, MediaTek and PUBG shared that the majority of Poco brand smartphone users are from Generation Z.


For that, Poco stated that they will no longer focus on the production of flagship devices as they have done since the Poco F1. Now with the smartphone industry offering various categories of devices, Poco also wants to offer the same.



From now on Poco will no longer market themselves as "flagship killer" manufacturers. Instead, it will market a balanced product that Generation Z wants. Among them is shopping online, watching digital content, being active on social media and also enjoying playing games.


By offering a variety of products, various users of the Z generation will have the option of having the best Poco device for their respective uses. Poco however will still try to offer a flagship device that can be bought at a competitive price. A MediaTek representative has mentioned something related to the Dimensity 9200+ and WiFi 7 will arrive one day.
