Realme GT3 is realme's flagship device that was launched at MWC Barcelona 2023. It's the best realme device I've ever used, but it's a shame it wasn't officially launched in Malaysia. Most recently, realme China will launch the GT5, which is a successor to the GT3.
Today realme officially unveiled the GT5 and it looks like the Pixel 7 Pro only the "cross" part is bigger and keeps the lamp like Nothing on the GT3 only now it's bigger. The glass on the back panel is manufactured by BYD Electronics. Realme says they use a new manufacturing technique where the entire back panel is made of one piece of glass and is curved and wavy.
The bar part is also seen using a transparent concept revealing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 logo. The camera part appears to be a combination of three sensors with a PDAF system, OIS and a f/1.8 24mm lens. The GT5 will also use a special X7 chip for the first time, support 240W charging on a 5240mAh battery, and a 1.5K 144Hz Pro-XDR screen.
Realme GT5 will be launched on August 28 next week. For now it is still not sure whether realme will launch globally or limited to China only. Let's wait together.
